Disclosure
Who owns this, and what that permits
NuLogic shares ownership with a commercial publishing network. Stating that plainly is the point of this page, because an index whose conflicts are discovered later is worth less than one that declares them first.
The relationship
NuLogic and the Lattice network of publications are commonly owned. Lattice operates content properties that carry clearly labelled sponsored placements. That is an advertising business, and it is disclosed here rather than described elsewhere in softer terms.
The two are kept separate because a register published by an advertising business is not credible, and because the separation is easier to verify than to promise.
NuLogic may
- Record and publish engine answers
- Publish standings and the method behind them
- License the reprint of a standing already earned
- Sell access to the underlying recorded data
NuLogic may not
- Sell placement, position or inclusion
- Alter a standing for a commercial reason
- Accept payment to omit a provider
- Cite a paid Lattice placement as evidence
How to check
The method is published before the figures, and every standing carries its engine set, month and provenance on its face. A provider who believes a standing misrepresents the record can ask for the recorded answers behind it, and they will be provided.
If a NuLogic figure is ever found to be unsupported by its recorded data, the correct response is to withdraw it and say so on this site. That commitment is made here, in advance, while it costs nothing to make.
